Wonderful music. Great playing by all. There is so much great traditional music around today and this is amongst the best of them. Ensemble playing like this is the best.
Favorite track: Speed The Plow.

We've been playing the Old Aunt Jenny/Green Gowned Lass set in our kitchen for months now, and now we have a whole album for our dinner soundtrack! Hooray!
This record came together in six days, with minimal rehearsal and planning. The music on this recording is solely thanks to the skills, creativity, positivity, and openness of the musicians joining me, and I am humbled and honored to have such a cast supporting my first attempts at a “solo” recording. In addition, my own self-doubt and second-guessing was kept in check by the diligent note-taking, patient ear, and steady hand of my producer, Jenna. My favorite moments on this album have her fingerprints all over them, and I’m always inspired and elevated by her musicality, thoughtfulness, and friendship.

Thanks to Daryl for the gift of his artwork and for being a throughline since my adolescence.

If you want non stop clanging bouzouki, this album is for YOU! Also, it features some of the best piping and fiddling you'll find anywhere. Owen Marshall
